Severe weather is once again causing disruption in the city. In Nuoro , amid strong winds and persistent rain, firefighters had to intervene to secure several buildings in the city center after dangerous parts broke off.
The most significant incident involved the cornice of the Man Museum . A portion of the sheet metal valance, stressed by the gusts, risked detaching and falling onto the area below, frequented daily by passers-by and visitors.
The firefighters' intervention allowed them to remove the unstable parts and eliminate the imminent danger . This was not the only case.
In the area of the former Convent of San Giuseppe , large pieces of plaster broke off and fell onto the sidewalk . Here too, the area to the side of the building had to be cordoned off to prevent any risk to pedestrians and motorists.
