Sestu, put out the fire in the shed

The flames that attacked the inside of a shed in via San Sperate in Sestu in the late morning were extinguished.

Piles of plastic crates usually used for the collection and storage of fruit are on fire.

The affair is dealt with by the agents of the Quartu Commissariat who act under the command of Commissioner Michele Venezia. The agents of the Cagliari Police Headquarters are also on site.

We are trying to verify if the flames are of malicious origin or if instead they were caused by a short circuit.

The fire developed around noon with the alarm that was immediate with the arrival of the fire brigade and the police: the flames had attacked the boxes creating a huge cloud of smoke: after two hours of work the fire was limited and tamed.

The structure would not have suffered damage to the supporting structures.
