Another theft in the night shakes the tranquility of the town. This time the target of thieves was the Lucky River, a games room with an adjoining bar in via Piscina Matzeu, a few steps from the famous restaurant “Il Ghiottone”.

It was around two in the morning when unknown people entered the premises, stealing the cash fund of around 100 euros. Despite the modest loot, the robbery was planned with cunning and a dose of unusual theatricality: to avoid being filmed by the cameras, the criminals allegedly used a fire extinguisher, spraying fire-fighting powder in the room to obstruct the visibility of the video surveillance systems.

A trick that didn't work entirely, however: the cameras still captured the scene, providing useful elements for identification.

The theft comes shortly after other similar incidents recorded in the area, shedding light on an escalation of petty crime that worries shopkeepers and residents.
