Sestu, house on fire during the night: the fire started in the basement

Alarm raised during the night in the Sestu countryside, in via Nuracada , due to a fire that broke out in a private home under construction.

The intervention of the firefighters around 2:30, with the support of two fire engines and a ladder truck. The teams, arriving on site, took steps to put out the flames and to secure the structure and the surrounding area.
The fire started in the basement and involved part of the ground floor, spreading to the wooden roof of the structure.
Once the remediation phase of the structure was completed, investigations were started to establish the causes of the fire.
No one was found to be involved .
