Sestu, flames in the night: fire at a car scrapyard
The extinguishing operations lasted hours, investigations into the causes are underwayCagliari firefighters responded to a fire in Sestu last night after a car wrecking yard fire.
Two operational teams from the command headquarters were on site, supported by two fire engines, who worked to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures and areas .
The firefighting and safety operations at the site continued for several hours . No one was injured. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the event.
