Sestu, burglary in a club: criminals flee with the cash register and two bottles of champagne

Last night, around 1am, a burglary shook the tranquility of Corso Italia in Sestu.

Three people with their faces covered broke into a restaurant-pizzeria, forcing the entrance door with two iron bars. In a few seconds, the thieves entered the place and stole the cash register located under the counter, while one of them grabbed two bottles of Dom Perignon, the famous French champagne.

The entire scene was captured by the premises' video surveillance cameras. Despite the immediate activation of the alarm, the criminals were not intimidated and fled in a black car before the arrival of the police.

The Carabinieri are investigating the case and are analyzing the footage to identify those responsible.
