Sestu, apartment on fire: the owner saves himself, extensive damage

Fear late last night in Sestu for the fire that broke out in an apartment in via Verdi. The flames would have been caused by a short circuit in the courtyard of the condominium: the owner was present who raised the alarm and tried to put out the fire that had invaded his apartment on the ground floor.

Then the firefighters intervened and contained and put out the blaze. Considerable damage inside the apartment. The smoke also blackened the outer walls.

The station carabinieri also arrived at the scene for the investigations of competence.
