Senorbì, an elderly man caught in the night stealing grapes from a vineyard: “booty” of 17 kilos

Caught with his hands in the plastic bag (full of grapes). During the night the carabinieri of the Radiomobile company of Dolianova stopped an eighty-one year old who had entered a vineyard in the countryside of Senorbì , armed with pruning shears, and had started cutting numerous bunches.

The furtive movements of the elderly man among the rows were however noticed by the owner of the farm, who called 112 with his mobile phone. The "booty" weighed 17 kilos.

The complaint was triggered but the judicial troubles, according to the weapon, could be avoided: it is not excluded that the complaint is remitted, given the smallness of the damage.
