The appeal of Contour Global Samas of Milan, which wanted to build an agrivoltaic plant in the territory of Seneghe, was rejected at the Regional Administrative Court of Sardinia. The Milanese company had challenged before the regional administrative court the Suape provision of the Union of Municipalities of Montiferru of March 4, 2025, which put a stop and precise limits on the construction of the 8,800 Kilowatt peak power plant. The Union had expressed a negative opinion on the simplified authorization procedure, as had the Municipality of Seneghe, which opposed the lawsuit, the Superintendency of Archaeology and Fine Arts of Cagliari-Oristano, and the Province of Oristano.

The TAR rejected the precautionary measure requested by Contour Global, considering «the notable relevance of the assets and interests at stake which makes it clear the need to maintain the " res adhuc integra "», and referred the matter to the Constitutional Court which will be called upon to express its opinion on the regional law 20 of 2024 on suitable areas.

The area, in any case, is protected and bound by the Superintendency due to the presence of the historic Romanesque church of San Pietro di Milis Pizzinnu and the nuraghe Santu Perdu, which is why the plant will not be built.
