"If the region intends to build a second dam upstream of the Maccheronis dam in Torpè, it must call us together." From the leaders of the Tepilora Park , the area in which the existing reservoir falls and would fall, if it is built, the future one, comes the request for an urgent convocation of a technical table that "can evaluate the feasibility of a possible new reservoir , given that for some time now - we read in the letter sent to the president of the region Alessandra Todde, - there has been talk, in the media and on various public occasions, of the possibility of building it.

The new “Abba Luchente” dam would fall within the Tepilora Park and the MaB UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Tepilora, Rio Posada, Montalbo, and according to the Park leaders, “it is necessary to provide adequate and correct information on the subject to the communities of the territories involved, information that comes from an authoritative and qualified source in possession of the elements necessary to carry out this assessment”.

There has already been an executive project since 1998, costing 1 billion and 800 million lire, on which there has been no shortage of divisions within the same territories involved
