Damaged poles, broken shelters glass, dirt in bus parking areas. Vandalism strikes Sassari without distinction of neighborhood: from the peripheral ones to the central ones, even in the areas considered more ignorant. The public transport company (ATP) had to spend 20 thousand euros in three months to remedy the incivility of the rude people who partially nullify the great work done to redevelop the street furniture.

There are about 12 vandalized shelters without counting the 95 poles just rearranged that required a new painting intervention, the application of new information stickers (because they were torn, crumpled and thrown on the ground): more vandalized the very important stickers with QR code that they make even non-electrified poles “talking”, because by framing the code with the smartphone they automatically connect to the App and to the precious and essential information such as the real-time passage of the buses at that precise stop.

The president of ATP Sassari Paolo Depperu launches an appeal to the citizens of Sassari: “Let's put together a brake on this rampant phenomenon of widespread incivility that is spreading in our city. We must not lower our heads or turn away when we witness actions that harm the public good. We would like to use our resources in economic terms and personnel exclusively to increase services and not to remedy the stupidity of people unable to care for the place where they live. Damaging a common good means not even having respect for oneself. Let's stop them / and without fear ".
