A 2,366-seat facility finally dedicated to volleyball , but nonetheless multifunctional because it can also host handball , futsal and futsal events. It will be built in Sassari in the Latte Dolce district , in via Kennedy. Estimated expenditure: 4.5 million . The time schedule provides for testing in June 2026 .
The project was presented this morning at Palazzo Ducale as part of the two Public Works and Sport commissions, chaired by Manuel Alivesi and Virginia Orunesu.
The Councilor for Public Works Rosanna Arru recalled: «We participated in the Pnrr Sport tender for Cluster 1. The initial funding was 3.5 million, but since the project was presented on December 30th we had 20% of bonus, therefore 750 thousand euros. The remaining 250 thousand euros will be provided by the Municipality».
