Seven properties to be put up for auction in Corso Vittorio Emanuele with a view to regenerating the historic centre of Sassari . The intervention of the Municipality, financed by the Region, Municipality and Pnrr, through the Pinqua programme, with one million euros, which led to the purchase of the renovated apartments, is reaching its final stages.

"And now they will be assigned - explains the mayor Giuseppe Mascia in this morning's inspection together with the councilor for Housing Policies Patrizia Mercuri - trying to identify a much wider range, compared to the previous administration's announcement, with different social categories and who do not live in the historic center".

"The announcement has already been published - adds Mercuri - it will take the usual thirty days for the rankings before the assignment". The sizes range from 50 square meters and up and this will be taken into account for the families who will come to live there.

«The apartments - specifies the mayor - will be supervised and monitored for the duration of the tender».

The rent will be for four years and “controlled” , says the councilor, “it will be half the market price”.

In addition to the seven apartments, the Municipality also purchased a commercial space that will become an Urban Living Lab and which still needs to be renovated.
