The municipal buildings in via Paganini in the Santa Maria di Pisa neighborhood in Sassari fall to pieces. Yesterday there was a protest from residents who complained about the neglect of the buildings. «I found myself on the windowsill - reports a resident showing the fragments - the pieces of the facade. If they had hit someone in the head they would have ended up straight in the cemetery."
In front of the entrance to the buildings, a large pile of remains has formed due to a recent collapse, the latest in a series that has lasted for years. «I have been here since 1985 - says another resident - and, despite having reported the inefficiencies, I have never seen anyone doing maintenance. In the end, those who were able paid for the work themselves." The signs of dilapidation are evident, like those of the humidity that shows its presence along the walls. "But there are many problems - declare the condominium owners - and among these the lack of light in the courtyard or the park with very tall grass". A play area submerged by vegetation, impracticable for children. «Then there are areas - says a resident - where the ecological operator never cleans because he says it is private property. When we asked who the owner is we got no answer."

It is the Latte Dolce and Santa Maria di Pisa neighborhood committee that collects complaints from the population. «There are many dangerous situations - underlines one of its representatives, Danilo Farina - I hope that something changes, it has been going on like this for too many years».
