Sassari, possession of marijuana and cocaine: arrested by the Carabinieri

Arrested in Sassari by the Carabinieri for possession of marijuana and cocaine.

In recent days, the military surprised a young non-EU citizen while, on the corner of Via San Donato, in the historic center, he was in the company of some people known for taking drugs.

When the police approached the person, as soon as they spotted him, he took off his jacket and threw it to the ground. The carabinieri searched him and then searched the garment, finding six doses of cocaine and one dose of marijuana, already packaged and ready to be sold.

The non-EU citizen was arrested and then taken to court for a summary trial.
