Serious accident, late yesterday evening, in the Li Punti district of Sassari in Monte Tignosu. Victim of the accident was a man, 54-year-old MC, who, while returning home on foot, was hit by a Panda driven by a 47-year-old, at the intersection of via Ciancilla and via Baldinca.

Following the violent collision with the car, the pedestrian ended up on the windshield and then on the asphalt, an impact that caused him a severe head injury. Aid by the 118 health workers, he was transported by ambulance to the Santissima Annunziata civil hospital, where he is hospitalized in the resuscitation ward on a reserved prognosis.

The agents of the local police of Sassari also intervened on the spot for the surveys and investigations necessary to reconstruct the exact dynamics. Monitored by doctors, the 54-year-old's condition would be serious, albeit not life threatening.
