Sassari, 15-year-old with marijuana in his backpack tries the "sock trick"

The activities of the Sassari Local Police Headquarters of the Judicial Police aimed at combating drug dealing in schools continue.

In a high school , just under ten grams of marijuana, hidden inside a backpack, were seized from a fifteen-year-old boy . The student, during the checks carried out by the dog unit, clumsily tried to confuse the dog by taking off a shoe and rubbing the sock on the backpack that contained the substance . Everything useless.

The subsequent search of the home where the student lives with his parents allowed the discovery of some inflorescences inside a pouch, and a further sixty grams of marijuana hidden in the garage, as well as several sachets used for packaging the doses, and cash .

The young man was declared under arrest at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court.

The following day, the agents' attention was focused on a seventeen-year-old boy, who had already been under observation for a few days , as he took his dog for a walk near his home. In her room, inflorescences were found everywhere: on the bedside table, on the TV stand, on the desk, in a fridge bag, in some purses. Approximately 200 grams of marijuana were seized, as well as a hundred transparent plastic bags that were used to divide the inflorescences prepared for drug dealing. Furthermore, 5 grinders (used to prepare the substance), a black bong (used to inhale the substance) and cash were also found and seized.

The seventeen-year-old was also declared under arrest at the disposal of the judicial authority.

The investigating judge has ordered the stay at home in the evening and at night for the fifteen-year-old , the prohibition of attending public places of entertainment, and of accompanying people who have pending matters with the justice. The President of the Court of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court has ordered the custody of the seventeen-year-old to a community of juvenile justice. For both, the social services office for minors will define a path aimed at their social reintegration .

These activities, the agents announce, "demonstrate the constant collaboration between the local police command of Sassari, the school institution and families, with the common objective of protecting adolescents from the risks attributable to the phenomenon of drug dealing and consumption narcotics".
