Arrested by the Carabinieri in Sassari after stealing merchandise and threatening supermarket employees with a knife.

The incident occurred on July 31st in Via Cavour when a man, having entered a supermarket, attempted to leave with a container of garden fertilizer hidden under his vest.

Outside the shop, he was stopped by the shop assistants who demanded the return of the stolen goods, and the person in response pulled out a knife and threatened them.

The business manager intervened and disarmed the man. The Carabinieri, arriving on the scene, arrested the man for improper robbery and possession of a weapon. The suspect was taken to Bancali prison.
