The control services of the Sassari State Police continue to combat thefts in the industrial area of “Predda Niedda”.

In these hours, the agents of the flying section of the Police Headquarters arrested a 35-year-old from Sassari, who had entered a commercial activity.

The cops caught the man trying to climb over a fence behind the building to sneak away with the stolen goods.

Seeing himself being hunted, the man tried to escape, kicking one of the officers full in the face. The policemen, however, managed to stop him and put handcuffs on his wrists.

During the searches, the agents then recovered various clothing material for children, accessories of various kinds, including a brush cutter, for a total value of approximately 1,700 euros.

The man was thus taken to the Police Headquarters, at the disposal of the judicial authority. You have to answer for aggravated theft.
