The " March for non-violence " took place tonight at 6 pm in Sassari, organized by the Sardinian Messaggerie, held in the footsteps of the Indian politician Mahatma Gandhi , whose anniversary is just today (it is the world day of non-violence ), and of Aldo Capitini , the Italian philosopher and educator, among the first to theorize in Italy the importance of Gandhian thought.

The procession started from Piazza Fiume and ended in Piazza Azuni, with two other intermediate stops in Piazza d'Italia and Piazza Castello. In which there were the poetic contributions of Luana Farina and Zaira Zingone , very touching and particularly appreciated by those present.

Yesterday in the city numerous other initiatives, films and debates on the subject, mainly centered on the figure of Aldo Capitini.
