A 55-year-old, Angelo Cossu, died after falling from the second floor while cleaning the solar awning on the terrace of a building in via Floris, in the Baddimannitta district.
The alarm was raised by his wife who was at home with him.
An ambulance from 118 and the local police were on site, but there was nothing more that could be done for the man.
