Sassari, elderly woman falls at home: the staircase is too narrow, stretcher taken down with ladder truck

It was a complex and providential rescue carried out by the firefighters in the afternoon in Sassari. Having intervened at the request of 118, around 7.40pm in Viale Italia, the firefighters went to the rescue of an elderly woman who had fallen at home.

An action made complicated by the dimensions of the staircase of the building where the woman lives, too narrow to allow the passage of the stretcher.

For this reason, the firefighters of the Sassari power station had to use the ladder truck in order to transport the elderly woman down and make it possible to provide assistance to the healthcare personnel who transferred her to the hospital.
