Accident in Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Sassari. Around 04:15, a car while going down the road, for reasons yet to be ascertained, collided with 3 parked cars, including a waste collection vehicle, involving a passerby who was rushed to the emergency room with a red code.
The pedestrian is a non-EU citizen who, at the time of rescue, did not have documents. According to an initial reconstruction, he was crushed while crossing between a Punto and a Nissan. The possible driver of one of the cars is thought to be 47 years old and, while going down the Corso, he hit the other car. The shoes of the injured man and his personal items are still on site. The fire brigade team was on site and secured the cars. Two 118 ambulances and the Highway Patrol patrol car also intervened.
