A tree that suddenly collapses in front of a passerby, dangers that arise daily in the Monte Rosello neighborhood in Sassari. The complaint is by Gian Mario Chelo, president of the Insieme per il Quartiere Committee.

For several months, in three streets of Monte Rosello, mainly in the Sacro Cuore area, there have been frequent episodes of large branches falling, some weighing hundreds of kilos, which have hit the sidewalks, the road or some parked cars.

"All it takes is a little rain or wind, and the branches fall down like skittles, and sometimes they have given way on beautiful, sunny days. Our Board of Directors urged the relevant municipal department to make the area safe, but we were told that they had already arranged for an intervention in the first half of September. Given the repeated falls in recent days, we also asked to bring forward the safety measures, but to date there is no trace of the announced intervention."

Residents are very worried because walking especially on via Buonarroti is a serious risk for their safety . For now only coincidences have avoided the worst for pedestrians, while several cars have been damaged. The Board of Directors of the Insieme per il Quartiere Committee firmly requests that the safety intervention be finally implemented.
