From Sarroch to Udine to demonstrate their skills at the Italian Informatics Olympiad, which will be held in Udine until September 25th.
Michele Tronci, a 17-year-old from Sarroch, a fourth-year student in Applied Sciences at the Alberti Scientific High School in Cagliari, is one of two young Sardinians who will participate in the most important national competition for computer science skills.
One hundred participants from all over Italy will compete in the competition, vying for the top spot in this event that tests young Italians' knowledge of the computer world.
Michele Tronci's impressive preparation and disciplined study methods—the first student in Pacinotti's history to reach the final stage of this special Olympics—are no coincidence: the young man from Sarroch also performed well at the Mathematics Olympiad held in Cesenatico last May.
