Another landslide in the Santu Lussurgiu territory, this time on a rural road in the Palobianu area, which serves several agricultural companies.

Land subsidence: a large mass of rocks and earth, probably caused by recent heavy rains, rolled down, blocking the passage and making it potentially dangerous.

The municipal construction team, along with Terna, and the Santu Lussurgiu Civil Protection Department and local police responded immediately. They removed the debris obstructing the path and made the area safe, clearing it and allowing traffic to pass again. The path provides access to agricultural land and is also used for walking and sports. Fortunately, there were no people or vehicles in transit at the time of the landslide, but the situation requires caution.

The heavy rainfall of recent days is causing several critical issues in the area, which is proving vulnerable to harsh weather conditions. A few days ago, a small landslide occurred along Provincial Road 15 in the Santu Lussurgiu area, near the Madonnina de sos Molinos church. Civil Protection, Barracelli di Santu Lussurgiu, and the Abbasanta Fire Department responded decisively there as well.
