The Region has requested the use of the Liburna, a Moby ship, on the Santa Teresa – Bonifacio route. The green light from the General Command of the Port Authorities should arrive by the end of the month.

The problem of the Santa Teresa Gallura-Bonifacio connection seems close to a solution , a route with heavy disruptions until the interruption a few months ago. For artisans, commuters, truck drivers, a real disaster, reported in all the offices.

The bureaucratic steps for the green light for a new ferry on the line are complex, since it is an international route. But the solution seems imminent. The Lega MP, Dario Giagoni , says: « The Region is finally doing its part to stem this situation. My requests a few days ago were aimed exclusively at implementing the solutions already identified between the inter-ministerial bodies to overcome the serious disruption of the suspension of the international route; the ministry and shipping company had given their availability, but the Region had not yet put the request in writing. Today I received confirmation that the Region has resolved the situation by requesting the provision of the Liburna, a Moby ship. This implies that the bureaucratic and logistical procedure, linked to the transport, is about to be resolved shortly».
