Two injured in apparently serious conditions, two cars completely destroyed and a truck involved: this is the result of the road accident that occurred this morning at 8:30 along the state road 126, in the locality of Corru Longu in Sant'Antioco.

For reasons currently being investigated, the two cars, a Fiat Punto and a Ford, collided head-on and ended up on a ditch.

The rescue and ambulance services intervened immediately and transported the injured to the Sirai hospital in Carbonia. The Carbonia firefighters intervened to extract him from the wreckage and secure the road.

The surveys were carried out by the Carabinieri. One of the two cars hit the truck in an attempt to avoid the head-on collision but failed.
