Sanctions against Russia: in Sardinia there is a hunt for the assets of the tycoons

"Reserved" operation of the Guardia di Finanza in Sardinia to seize and freeze the assets of Russian magnates, after the measures taken by the government , on the basis of other international sanctions, against Russia, in retaliation for the armed invasion of Ukraine .

The investigations continue in secrecy, but from what transpires checks and investigations to identify the assets to be hit were mainly conducted in the Costa Smeralda, in the areas of Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and Portisco.

Once the assets of the magnates have been identified, the process for the "dispossession" and freezing should be ratified, which will only make it possible to maintain and monitor the assets in question, villas, yachts and so on.

The operation is entrusted to personnel of the Financial Police of Sassari and Olbia and to the State Property Agency.
