San Vero Milis, tragedy in the countryside: he dies at the age of 54 struck by a tree

An Air Force lieutenant died yesterday , late in the evening, in the countryside of San Vero Milis .

Giovanni Dessì, 54 years old, stationed in Capo Frasca, was with a friend and they were stocking up on wood. The man was hit by a tree , which broke, fatally injuring him in the chest .

The 118 rescuers immediately intervened on site and could not help but confirm the death of the soldier .

The Carabinieri also arrived in San Vero Milis and were responsible for reconstructing the dynamics of the tragedy .
