San Teodoro, an ultralight aircraft overturns and falls into the sea

Moments of fear in San Teodoro, where an ultralight aircraft took off from La Cinta beach and crashed into the sea.
Fortunately, the pilot was unharmed and was immediately rescued by the Olbia Harbor Master's Office, after having exited the aircraft himself to reach the shore.
On the spot, in addition to the soldiers of the Coast Guard, the Carabinieri of San Teodoro led by captain Fabrizio Borghini of the Company of Siniscola and an ambulance of 118 arrived.
According to an initial reconstruction by the military, the ultralight was flying low with the open landing gear which hit the water, causing the plane to overturn.
