San Gavino, solidarity of mayors, parties and trade unions after the intimidating writings against the CGIL

A wave of solidarity comes from the world of institutions and trade unions after the fascist intimidating writings that targeted the CGIL headquarters in via Parrocchia in San Gavino Monreale and the general secretary Maurizio Landini.

The condemnation of the mayor Carlo Tomasi stops: "A cowardly act to be condemned for the important role of the union and solidarity also with the family, whose neighboring house has been smeared with writings." Solidarity with the CGIL comes from the general secretary of the CISL of Medio Campidano Loredana Zuddas . Harsh condemnation also by the provincial secretary of the Democratic Party Gigi Piano: “The writings with which the headquarters of the CGIL and the home of a private citizen were smeared say a lot about the violence and ignorance of those who made them. The attack on the headquarters of the union and its secretary requires us not only due fraternal support against a shameful act of vandalism, but, above all, it requires the request that the guilty thugs be identified and punished. The trade union, in addition to being the essential garrison for the protection of workers' rights, is a garrison of democratic participation in the territory. Whoever hits him in such a violent and cowardly way stands outside any democratic and anti-fascist logic and aims to intimidate those who work daily for workers and for a more equitable and just society ”.
