The new cultural event "Anderas" begins, which establishes an ever stronger bond between the two Municipalities of San Gavino Monreale and Selargius , united by a prestigious figure, the poet Faustino Onnis of Sangavino origins who then moved to the town of Selargino .
The cultural project, promoted by the foundation named after Faustino Onnis, is shared by the two Municipalities, numerous cultural associations, schools and libraries in the Selargius and San Gavino Monreale area and has received funding from the Region's Department of Culture.

In the center of Medio Campidano there will be three days full of cultural events from 16 to 18 November. Wednesday 16th starts at 10.30 with the reading animation workshop at the Marconi Lussu high school curated by the Curatoria Monreale association, at 17.30 in the spaces of the Civis in via Roma 102 there will be the presentation of the new work by Vindice Lecis "All'ombra del Sant 'Uffizio”, followed at 7pm by the screening of the docu-film “Grazia Deledda close up view” by Marco Gallus.

On 17 November at 9.30 we continue with "Mamma Lingua", the multicultural laboratory on the mother tongue in the premises of the Faustino Onnis Library. In the evening at 17.30 in the "Dona Maxima" house-museum the book by the Villacidro priest Don Angelo Pittau "All'urlo Camminai" will be presented. “Finally, on the 18th - remarked the Councilor for Culture Silvia Mamusa -, the project will close with the presentation at 5.30 pm in the municipal library of the book '1984. Milli e novichentos ottantabattor', transposition into Sardinian of the book by George Orwell edited by Gonario Franciscu Sedda. Lorenzo Argiolas of the 'Curatoria Monreale' association will be present as a speaker. We are happy to be able to continue the important collaboration with the Municipality of Selargius which adopted Faustino Onnis, a native of San Gavino Monreale".

The Sardinian language councilorship, the Marconi-Lussu high school, the Monte Linas library system, the “Curatoria Monreale” and “Sa Moba Sarda” associations are also involved in the project. All events are free and open to the whole community.
