The discovery was made only on Saturday afternoon, upon returning from the convivial lunch of S'Arbore, the final moment of the handover of the sanctuary of Lula.

The robbery – The thieves acted at night, forcing entry to the home in Corte, on the outskirts of Nuoro, taking advantage of the absence of the homeowners. Once inside, they ransacked everything, managing to steal several valuables, the amount of which is still being ascertained. The celebrations for the return home were abruptly interrupted by a very unpleasant surprise. In an instant, the joy for the new role turned into bitterness. Giovanni Farina and Daniela Marongiu had just replaced Ivan Mariane and Maura Cavada in the role of priors, a central role in the tradition of the pilgrimage to Lula.
