A wind of hope is blowing on the Gulf of Cagliari , where the sea becomes the stage for an experience that combines sport and solidarity . The project "InPari per gli Ucraini " ends on Thursday 29 August, with three days of intense sailing activity, an initiative that has managed to transform the drama of war into an opportunity for integration and growth for young Ukrainian refugees in Sardinia.

Promoted by Crei Acli Sardegna and co-financed by the UEFA Foundation for Children and Epic, in collaboration with the Sardinia Region, the project saw dozens of Ukrainian children and adolescents set sail into the waters of Cagliari , leaving behind, even if only for a moment, the weight of a conflict that has now been going on for over two years.

“InPari” – a term that in Sardinian means “together” – was more than just a slogan: it was the mission that guided every phase of the project, since the beginning in December 2022. Crei Acli Sardegna obtained funding from the UefaEFA Foundation for Children for such an ambitious idea, aimed at promoting the integration of Ukrainian citizens in the regional territory.

The highlight of this journey is represented by the sailing courses organized from today, August 27th until August 29th in collaboration with New Sardiniasail, a sports association that since 2013 has used the sea and sailing as tools for social inclusion. Three groups of 14 people, including children, teenagers and mothers, have the opportunity to discover the beauty of sailing, learning to steer boats while they plough through the blue sea of the gulf.
