Robbery in Sestu, the hunt for bandits continues: images and testimonies under examination

The investigations of the Carabinieri of Sestu are all focused on examining the images from various cameras and on interrogations in the barracks to try to shed light on the assault on the betting agency in via Cagliari .

The bandits were allegedly filmed by some of these cameras. They had their faces covered by balaclavas, but someone would have noticed them anyway entering the premises and then fleeing with a “booty” of almost 2,000 euros on board, it seems, some scooters, the same ones they would have used to arrive in via Cagliari.

The investigations of the Carabinieri, led by Major Michele Cerri and Lieutenant Riccardo Pirali, are proceeding in secrecy. However, it cannot be ruled out that the military already have elements in hand to shed light on the affair.

The manager of the club, Dino Deiana, who was injured by the butt of a gun, is still in hospital, but his condition is understood to be improving.
