"No to the wind assault": the mobilization continues. The committees: "There are no suitable areas"

The mobilization against the wind assault and speculation of renewables in Sardinia does not stop.

The signature collection for the “Pratobello 24” bill continues unabated in all municipalities, many of which are also advertising the signature on their social media profiles.

As in Tortolì , where the administration published a post on Facebook that reads: "Our city is mobilizing against the energy exploitation of Sardinia. Today more than ever it is essential to say NO to the energy assault that threatens our cultural and environmental heritage. We have already collected about 300 signatures, but we can do more! Join our cause by signing the Pratobello bill at the Registry Office. Your signature is a concrete step to defend our territory ". An invitation that is raised by many other municipalities on the Island.

In Aritzo , however, an appeal for respect for the Sardinian territory came not only from the Municipality, but also from the children's choir of the summer service of the playroom ( WATCH THE VIDEO ).

But, in addition to the Municipalities, there are also committees in the field from north to south , such as “Ajò Stop Devastazione”, “Progresso sostenibile” and “Su domu de Tottus” (which in Sassari collected almost three thousand signatures in a few days). Also: the volunteers of the Uta and Sarcidano committees , who brought the stalls for collecting signatures to Siliqua ( WATCH THE VIDEO ) and who will be in Villaspeciosa on Friday, at the San Platano Park. On Saturday, instead, in Oristano a conference-debate is scheduled entitled “An island to be saved. Resisting the new energy colonization” , organized by the cultural association Liberanimos. But the initiatives carried out by committees and associations are dozens. Like in Nurri , where a meeting was held precisely to say no to speculation on renewables ( WATCH THE VIDEO ).

And another firm position comes from the committees on the wind and photovoltaic projects that affect numerous areas of the island ( including the Gulf of Oristano ): «There are no suitable areas for plans of this kind».
