"If you want the stolen tablet back, pay 150 euros": Nuoro, woman arrested for extortion

A woman was arrested by the Nuoro police station on charges of extortion.

The story began when a man, returning home to his home, surprised the suspect inside who, together with an accomplice, was intent on turning the rooms upside down, probably in search of loot.

At the sight of the owner, the suspect and her accomplice fled, however taking away a tablet.

In the following hours, the landlord received a call: «If you want your tablet back, you have to pay 150 euros».

The man, however, instead of giving in to blackmail, turned to the police. And the agents set up a "trap" to lure the blackmailer, who was arrested and put in handcuffs.
