"Help, my husband went to our house in Villasimius and is no longer answering the phone." The call to the police came from Chieri, in the province of Turin: the request for help was from the wife of a seventy-six-year-old resident in the town of Sarrabus, worried because she had not heard from him for over 24 hours.

The soldiers rushed to the house: they asked for the help of the firefighters to force the door. The owner was found lying in the bedroom, conscious but unable to move or speak following an illness.

The elderly man was immediately transported in red code to the Santissima Trinità in Cagliari for the necessary checks.

The timely intervention allowed the man to be rescued, avoiding more serious consequences.
