Doses of marijuana for a minor prisoner. This is what was found and seized from a relative of a young man, detained in the Juvenile Penitentiary Institute of Quartucciu. The drug was discovered by the canine unit of the Penitentiary Police of the regional detachment stationed in the Nuoro prison of Badu 'e Carros.

The check was targeted at family members who enter the Institute for interviews with relatives. The drug-sniffing dog Leo, a Labrador-like dog, sniffed out the doses during a check of the drawers where visitors deposit their objects. The family member, waiting to access the interview, was identified, searched and reported. All the substance was seized.

The activity was coordinated by the commander of the Department, the director of the Penitentiary Police Alessandro Caria.
