Quartucciu, another water failure and dry taps all day.

Another water outage occurred today in Quartucciu, where, for the second time in a few days, residents woke up to find their taps running dry.

After the failure reported this Tuesday, two more breaks occurred today, on Via Silanus and, more specifically, on Via Raffaele Piras, the latter being one of the city's main water mains.
In several areas of the country, taps have run dry, fueling discontent among residents. Social media has been flooded with protest messages and reports from furious residents over a situation that has recurred every few days. Many have reported waking up without water and not even being able to take a shower, aggravated by the high temperatures of recent days.

Among the many areas reported by residents are: Via degli Ulivi, Via Nazionale, Via delle Serre, Via Rosselli, Via Mogoro, Via Guspini, Via Ortobene, and the area around the church of San Pietro Pascasio.

Throughout the day, there were several brief interruptions in the water service, with the water then going out again, giving only the illusion that the problem had been resolved.
This disruption has also disrupted everyday household activities, forcing many families to reorganize their schedules and purchase bottled water to cope with the emergency.
