He broke into the ASL offices of Quartu Sant'Elena , in via Turati , and forced open a nurse's locker , stealing her wallet . The 55-year-old, who only realized the theft at the end of the shift, thus blocked her credit card.
In the meantime, the thief, knowing that a pin is not required for small amounts (generally 25 euros), made a series of purchases. The Carabinieri, after having identified the shops where the ATM had been used, checked the videos of the video surveillance systems. They were thus able to trace the identity of the perpetrator of the theft. In trouble a 39-year-old local homeless, unemployed and already known to the police for various legal cases.
The man spent less than €100 in a short time. He will answer to the judicial authority.
