Untraced and therefore potentially dangerous food, HACCP self-checks not carried out.

Two ethnic markets were sanctioned yesterday in Quartu where the carabinieri of the local Company together with their colleagues from the Nas of Cagliari carried out some checks to counter the crimes relating to work and health and hygiene regulations.

In a restaurant owned by a 24-year-old foreigner there was meat and fish without labeling and traceability. Given the potential danger to the safety and health of consumers, the carabinieri seized 10 kilos of frozen meat (sheep, claimed the market owner) and the same amount of fish. For the owner also a fine of 1,500 euros.

In another place, a fine of 3,000 euros was triggered for health and hygiene discrepancies in the management of the HACCP self-control plan.
