Punta Molentis: A hunt for a suspicious car. Two arrests in Sulcis.

Sardinia remains under attack , due to the fires that ravage the island's territory daily. Yesterday , emergency teams responded 40 times , with aircraft also constantly deployed to assist those on the ground in putting out the flames.

Meanwhile, the Forestry Police investigations, coordinated by Prosecutor Sabelli , continue – together with the counting of the damages – into the terrifying fire that devastated the Villasimius coast on Sunday, forcing hundreds of bathers to flee, even by sea ( VIDEO ), from Punta Molentis.

Investigators are targeting a suspicious car seen driving in the area . They are examining footage from several security cameras.

And, still on the fire front, two arrests were also made for a fire that broke out in San Giovanni Suergiu.
