Emergency during the night in Portoscuso due to the fire that broke out in a house. An entire family was evacuated, no one was injured.

Around 2.30 the firemen of Carbonia and Iglesias, supported by a tanker, intervened in Largo Gramsci. The fire was on the ground floor of the building and the smoke had enveloped the premises .

The 115 men extinguished the flames and located some LPG cylinders, which were taken outside and made safe.

The activities ended at 7 in the morning. The probable causes of what happened can be traced back - based on the first investigations - to a short circuit in the electrical system .
