A serious act of vandalism forces the school management of the Monte Agellu Institute in Porto Torres - elementary and kindergarten - to postpone the resumption of lessons to next Monday , 7 November.

The vandals burned the papers of the primary school pupils , works made for the Halloween party, dumped the dust of two fire extinguishers on the floor along the corridor and smeared the walls and doors with tempera.

The head teacher Alessandra Pinna reported the serious episode to the carabinieri of the Porto Torres company who carried out surveys and investigations useful for the investigations. Not satisfied , the criminals feasted inside the school premises, consuming biscuits and snacks stolen from the childhood school, finally toasting with bottles of sparkling wine they had brought with them and then breaking them on the floor.

Meanwhile, the director Pinna has sent a circular to parents to communicate the suspension of educational activities today and tomorrow, Friday 4 November, in the complex of the nursery and primary school of Monte Angellu to allow the cleaning of the premises. “We sent a note to the Municipality to ask for the alarm system to be restored - underlines the director - in this school which is continually targeted by vandals. What we regret most is making the children understand that their work done with enthusiasm is no longer there ".

In the school, constantly targeted by vandals who often visit the various complexes of Comprensivo 2, there is no adequate video surveillance system .
