Car-motorcycle collision in the roundabout leading to Platamona, on the Porto Torres coast.
The serious accident occurred around 9pm, when the large-displacement two-wheeler, with a young 21-year-old tourist on board, proceeded along Via Benedetto Croce to turn into the roundabout. A Nissan Juke suddenly emerged from Via Tramontana and ended up, inevitably, hitting the centaur.
The one who fared the worst was the young man who, after receiving initial treatment from the 118 health workers, was transported by ambulance to the Santissima Annunziata in Sassari. His condition was not serious. The Carabinieri of the Porto Torres company were on site for the investigations, supported in traffic regulation also by the men of the Turritan Financial Police.
