They hit the local police service car and two traffic policemen end up in the hospital. The rear-end collision, which involved three cars, happened in via Ettore Sacchi, one of the busiest thoroughfares in the center of Porto Torres.

The clash took place at the crossroads with via Balai, one of the critical points of the city. On the spot the health workers who, who intervened aboard two 118 ambulances, provided first aid to the two local police officers who were injured.

Stabilized with the collar, they were transferred to the civil hospital of Santissima Annunziata in Sassari. Their conditions are not serious. The findings of the accident were entrusted to the carabinieri of the Porto Torres company with the support of the local police.
