It happened at half past five in the morning in via Sassari, near the I Granai supermarket, when the young man on board a BMW e61 together with other boys, returning from an evening spent with friends, lost control of the car , went off the road and hit a light pole, knocking it down.

The 22-year-old from Porto Torres was transferred by the 118 health workers to the Santissima Annunziata civil hospital in Sassari. He suffered a trauma to his hand and some bruises. His condition is not of particular concern. But the consequences could have been much more serious.

The causes of the accident are not yet known, but the high speed and particularly wet asphalt were probably at its origin.
