A woman driving a Nissan Micra, for unknown reasons, went off the road and crashed into a large pole on the side of the road . According to initial reconstructions, the woman, a pensioner in her 70s, was traveling from the Lungomare toward Via Benedetto Croce when she lost control of the vehicle near the Il Golfo ice cream shop, likely due to illness, and crashed into a telephone pole.

The structure was torn from its base, endangering other parked vehicles. The woman, who suffered minor injuries, was treated by emergency medical personnel who provided first aid. Local police officers were on site to conduct surveys and investigate the incident, while firefighters secured the area and awaited the arrival of technicians to remove the telecommunications company's pole.

The Carabinieri of the Porto Torres branch also provided support. Residents complained about the danger of the road, due to the speed of drivers in an area often frequented by children due to the presence of a private playground.
